About Us
STV/Ralph Whitehead Associates,
Inc. (STV/RWA), a wholly-owned business unit of STV, Incorporated,
was established in 1961 by Ralph L. Whitehead, PE, offering
engineering services from a two-person Charlotte, NC office.
The initial focus of the business was to provide design services
to municipalities, state transportation departments (DOT’s),
and railroads. This focus set the stage for the company's
long-term strategic plan: to expand into all facets of civil/transportation
engineering.
Today, STV/RWA employs a staff of 150 employees, strategically
located in ten (10) offices:
